4th March – Sunday 4th March – Newport Shropshire CC – B&M car park in the town centre 54 miles 9:15 for 9:30am. (Audlem is on their route) – proposal is to meet in Audlem at 8am – ride down to Newport and then “drop off” as we come back through the village

11th March – Market Drayton CC Reliability Ride – Lidl car park 55 miles 9:00am. Meet at 8-30 in Audlem to ride to Mkt Drayton

Crewe Clarion 10 Wednesday 12/05/2010
A full field of 40 riders signed on for the mid week time trial held on the Nantwich bye pass.
Audlem CC riders – Edward Chatwin and Gav Collier returned some very close racing, returning times of 24 mins 47 secs and 24 mins 46secs respectively for the 10 mile course.
Average speed – 24. 53 mph
The conditions on the night were far from ideal with a cold north easterly wind headwind on the outgoing leg, and final incline to finish on the Newcastle Road. A tail wind section on the return, recorded speeds in excess of 30 mph !!!
On the whole a very enjoyable night, if a little cold.

Apologies for last weekend. Great feedback to hear that a family ride went ahead anyway, thanks to those who took it out. Father’s day this weekend so I’ll be out for a family ride – Spread the word as the weather is looking good! See you there.
Hi just to let you know about this years charity 4 up ran between Stone wheelers,lyme and swinnerton cycles.
The 4 person team time trial will be held on the SYWNNERTON CURCUIT on Friday 30th JULY 2010, for the Donna Louise trust.
As the June ride will not take place for the trust, it’s been decided that the charity event will be for the above charity.
Paul SWINNERTON will be the main sponsor again.
Nothing has changed from the previous years, it’s still £20 per team to enter and we hope to push the childrens / mountainbike teams off for around 18.00hrs.
All the local clubs will be invited and the trophy will be up for grabs.
Myself and Sue from LYME will be the main organisers and any questions can be answered by ourselves or the staff in SWINNERTONS.
Teams will need to complete a TT Entry form, the team section is on the rear of the form.
Any teams can be e mailed to me on jmacca@hotmail.co.uk and the entry forms can be given in on the evening of the event.
The target is to raise a £1000 or more so many teams need to be entered along with family and friends support is needed.
OULTON PARK ROAD RACE – ROUND 3
Audlem CC riders Paul Mason, Mike Wilson, Tony Haley and Gav Collier were in full flight in 3rd round of short circuit racing held at Oulton Park.
Conditions were ideal for racing with the sun shining and a very mild westerly wind.
Numerous breaks went during the race, but to no avail.
All 4 riders showed great presence during the racing, and all contesting the high speed bunch sprint finish.

Just wondering if anyone is undertaking the Pro Tour of Britain Stage from Stoke on Trent this year. I believe it is on 26th September. Especially wondering if anyone from the Mid distance ride group is doing it.

Horseshoe Pass Hill Climb – 10th Oct

Just wondering if anyone is thinking of doing the Horseshoe Pass Hill Climb in Oct or any other hill climbs for that matter
Is it me ? I’ve just been on the Road Time Trials Website and they don’t seem to give entry form addresses to send them to. Seem to remember that you need to have a special (secret squirrel) handbook. How difficult can they make it to enter events?
