Reliability Ride Report

28 10 2014

The annual “Putting the Clocks Back” Reliability Ride was a great success enjoyed by over 40 riders from no fewer than 12 local clubs.  The weather on Sunday was kind but the stiff wind made the cheers-winecourse challenging.  A brisk pace was set by members of the Audlem CC Race Team who completed the 57 miles at an average of 22mph Thanks to all those who took part and we look forward to seeing you again for our event in the Spring   Thanks also go to Eric Wilkinson for his inputs on the day

Some of the comments received :

“Well done Eric and to Audlem Cycling Club. As a guest of your ride I wanted to say a very big thank you to all involved. The hospitality and friendliness shown by everyone was a credit to your Club and a fantastic day was had by all. Excellent route, professionally signposted and welcome cakes at the end. All in all a perfect day, bar the head winds! Thanks once again” Nick Howe – Stafford Road Club

“Many thanks Eric for a very professional event and well organised ride. Thanks also to Martin who helped to put the signs out. Cheers” Andy Mason  ACC

“Thanks to Eric for a well organised and great ride today. Not only signposted but cakes at the end!!!” Graham Shields ACC
