THE GOOD FRIDAY RIDE – Happy Easter everyone

4 04 2017

It’s a Bank Holiday so we thought a Good Friday ride would be worth doing – it will help offset all the chocolate you might be having on Sunday !

Audlem Cycling Club will this year host a ride on Good Friday (14th April) that will depart 9 am from the village and make its way around the Reliability Ride course. There will be a pickup at Nantwich Football Club at 9.25 am before the ride heads out towards Tarporley.

The ride will cater for all levels so club members and local cyclists are welcome including other clubs and racers not racing!

From the village to the pickup point will be a group ride but post Reaseheath there will be opportunity for those who want to stretch their legs to press on at a +20 mph pace.

Post ride coffee and cake will be available at The Old Priest House Coffee Shop in Audlem. Check the club website for the routes, the standard route is 55 miles but there is a shorter route that also heads back to Audlem.

It is expected that riders from across all disciplines within the club will be riding so the idea is everyone rolls out together and then groups will naturally form based upon the pace people wish to ride at

The routes can be seen by clicking here

ENJOY and let’s hope the weather is on our side
